Will be harvesting aprox 3000lbs on or around the end of October. I picked the chile in the wild and planted the seeds under a driptape irrigation system which seems to do very well. Looking to sale bulk. Your site is very informative, thanks.Desertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08137929183857732969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34351990.post-82874674657668480612011-08-15T13:53:31.237-07:002011-08-15T13:53:31.237-07:00Very nice story. There is a lot of commercial possibilities with pequin plants, peppers and seeds.

I have a website that is exclusively based on the chile pequin pepper native to Texas called: chilepequin.com and all I basically sell are pequin seeds. But due to the large numbers of interest, not only in Texas, but through out the USA, I know there is a huge niche market just waiting to be tapped and plenty of profit for the early birds who establish themselves from the onset. Again, nice post, thanks for sharing.Alfredhttp://chilepequin.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34351990.post-14293327275922655072009-10-21T10:29:34.516-07:002009-10-21T10:29:34.516-07:00I live in Californias Central Coast. I have been succesful with my first 500 plants in open sun and not so well in the shade. I will try a small scale comercial plot next year of 15000 plants under hoops and 20000 open field. the best plant so far has yielded 4 oz and is still fruiting. Estimate easy 6oz from this plant alone!Angelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08796480559795264090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34351990.post-34023932382196802852009-09-04T18:01:32.387-07:002009-09-04T18:01:32.387-07:00I make hot sauce and have been looking all over fo...I make hot sauce and have been looking all over for a good source of Pequin chilis.
